"Canta Cupcake"

Estoy preparando una presentación  musical (Canta Cupcake)en la que daremos muestras de una línea de productos naturales y orgánicos, completamente gratis. Me ha encantado usar estos productos sobre todo porque mi niño mas pequeño tiene grandes problemas de alergia en la piel y necesitaba salirme un poco de los muchos químicos que tienen los productos de hoy. Una tardesita con música infantil y la recomendación que tal vez hasta como un part-time mom la puedas usar.

VACACIONES DE VERANO PARA TI...LALALALALA....

En estos dias he estado muuuuy ocupada, con muchas cosas, entre ellas el nuevo libro, la preparación de un nuevo proyecto al que me han invitado(Sorpresa) y componiendo para un futuro disco. Todo esto adicionandole doctor, deficiencia de vitamina "D" y preocupaciones no tan preocupantes ! En fin, mañana estaré disfrutando de dos dias de vacaciones para reponer fuerzas, y luego al combate corred Bayameses! (frase del himno naiconal cubano) La semana que viene tendremos unas entrevistas en radio, un programa de tv y además tiene también mi esposo una cirugía menor, algo simple pero igual todos debemos de estar frescos para comenzar una semana cargadilla. Agradecida estoy de las señoras Mirima Weiss y Cristina Fundora, quien me hiciera el pasado Martes una bella entrevista de una hora (!)para radio Esperanza 1040 en Miami y que se mucha gente escuchó, no dejen de sintonizar esta nueva estación con mucha clase y cultura. Quiero dejarles nuevamente "Colores" Para los que no lo han visto y para los que quieren repetirlo. Un felíz fin de semana (feriado en USA) Que la pasen rico!

Debate de literatura y música infantil en FIU



 


A pesar de los juegos deportivos que se hacian en FIU y que provocaron un mal tráfico para entrar a la Universidad el pasado Viernes en la noche, el evento se realizó entre amigos y personalidades de la literatura y otras artes de nuestra ciudad de Miami. Sé de amistades que no pudieron entrar al recinto por el evento colateral deportivo, pero ahi estuvieron en mi corazón. Ahora les comparto unas fotos de como estuvo todo y lo bien que la pasamos, debatiendo un poquito del mundo musical  y literario infantil actual, de mi libro Cantaba la Rana y de mis discos. Gracias a los asistentes y demás está decir que al patrocinador de dicho evento The Cove Rincón/International y su directora Marylis Reyes por haberme invitado una vez mas mil gracias. Los miembros de La Academia de artes Euliser Polanco en Oviedo, Asturias, fueron aplaudidos por su obra magistral en este video clip.Recibirán un diploma honorario por su trabajo otorgado por The Cove rincón y FIU.   Entre los presentes Manuel Villanueva, un amigo y músico Cubano de una trayectoria muy larga en exilio, maetsros de literatura, de Kindegarten, psicólogos, escritores y otros profesionales.Muchas gracias a todos por ofrecer tan acogedora recepción.

COLORES

Les Presento COLORES  Este increible trabajo de video fue realizado por la ACADEMIA EULISER POLANCO en España. Un trabajo en conjunto de varios estudiantes que han usado únicamente materiales reciclados. Esta es una brillante idea de mostrarle a los niños como se reusan las cajas vacias y otros elementos en algo provechoso siempre. El peculiar video ha sido usando cámaras de fotos no de video; una técnica de mucho tiempo y dedicación. La canción que compuse para el disco "Insectos y Bicharracos" tiene arreglos de Bayron Ramos y la voz de los niños Nathaly Suarez, Anthony Llibre y Andrea Rodriguez.

LOLINA LA ARAÑITA BAILARINA

Este fin de semana me han llamado varias mamás refiriendose a "Lolina la arañita Bailarina". Me ha dado mucho gusto que esa canción de mi disco "Insectos y Bicharracos" sea la favorita del CD prácticamente a la par de la "La Cucaracha" pues lleva el nombre de mi mamá, quien en realidad se llama Dolores, pero todos le dicen Lolina. La canción ,que tiene lineas bien repetitivas ,algo que les encanta a los mas pequeños, enseña tambien a contar hasta el 6 y está muy bien arreglada por Bayron Ramos, productor y arreglista de todas las canciones del CD. Muchas gracias a todas las que me han llamado a decirme que "Lolina la Arañita Bailarina", sigue estando invicta!

SHOW DE FIN DE CURSO

ESTA SEMANA EL DIA DEL SHOW!....CUAL SHOW?
Pues el show de música de la escuela Cattoira Montessori en Miami, una de las escuelas donde enseño. Piezas de piano, canciones, los dos coros y el Recorder Ensemble serán parte del programa.
Todos mis estudiantes andan como loquitos pues es el show final para los padres, familia y demás estudiantes. Les traere las fotos y asi los conocerán. Se que la mayoria de las escuelas están preparando sus espectáculos, asi que les deseo suerte y muchaaaaaa....MUSICA!!!!!

LOS INVITO A ESTE SUMMER CAMP EN EL QUE ESTARE IMPARTIENDO CLASES DIARIAMENTE FULL TIME! Cuesta $120 semanales y hay descuento de hermanos. Descuento de 15 % si registra las dos secciones y se aceptan tarjetas de credito o cheques personales.
Niños de 4 a 10 años. Estarán divididos en dos grupos de acuerdo a la edad y relaizarian las mismas actividades con cambios de contenido de acuerdo al grupo. 3-“ Sinfónica de grasshoppers “ (Música y arte)

Estudiar las familias que componen la orquesta sinfónica ayudados por amigos grillos.

Field trip: Venetian Pool, Coral Gables.

4-“El Teatro de Gepetto” (Teatro de títeres y marionetas)

Mediante la obra de “Pinocho”, estudiaremos sobre el arte de las marionetas y aprenderemos a crear las nuestras.

Field trip: Teatro Roxy

5-“ Recycling for art” (Cerámica y escultura)

Aprender que todo lo que nos rodea sirve para hacer arte y escultura.

Field trip: Taller de ceramic y horno (TBA)

6- Book es Libro” (Literatura bilingue)

Estudio de poesía y literatura infantil. Introducción a la composición de poesía y décima.

7- “ I am a chef” (Cocina)

Aprender a confeccionar ensaladas y postres saludables.

Zulmara Cline is a contributing author in the best selling Chicken Soup for the

Latino Soul book and an educational consultant. She has written three poetry

books and wrote a novel during NaNoWriMo in November 2010. She has been an

educator since 1984 and has worked as a kindergarten teacher, a preschool

director, and a university professor in the area of literacy and early childhood

education. She is currently an administrator for the California State University

Chancellor's Office.



She enjoys biking and is currently in training for a century ride in June and

the fall foliage bikeride in Maine. She enjoys reading and can be found on

Goodreads, Blogspot, Facebook, and NaNoWriMo..

Agarren el coche si tienen niños, la botella de agua,shorts y sneakers y nos vemos el dia 30 de Abril en el parqueo de la tienda Payless Shoes a las 8AM, frente al Tropical Park, justo en la entrada del shopping donde está Best Buy. No es necesario caminar las 3 millas. Los que asistan deben de ordenarme por email ruesgarita@gmail.com su camiseta antes del dia 27 ; me tienen que decir el size para tenerselas ese dia. Cuesta $15 y ahi está incluida la donación a la marcha. Una forma de ayudar y de vernos pues hay cientos de familias ese dia, asi que es una forma buena de socializar. No dejen de notificar si van por favor. Estaremos esperando hasta las 8:35am solamente.

Aqui ando super contenta porque ya en Los Angeles, se les dan los últimos toques a una compilación de cd's con las mejores canciones infantiles sonadas en USA y en las que aparecerán dos de mis canciones.Este proyecto creado por Mrs Music,  Sra Barbara, directora del coro infatil de L.A. estará a la venta muy pronto en las tiendas Walgreens y en otra gran cadena de tiendas que aún no puedo mencionar por no haber detalles ultimados . Estoy orgullosa de haber sido escogida para representar a los latinos entre tantos cantautores infantiles norteamericanos. Ya saben ,cuando vean Best kids songs compilation, ahi hay un pedacito de nosotros.

Quiero darle gracias a todos los que asistieron a nuestro primer lanzamiento de "Cantaba La Rana/The frog was singing" celebrado este pasado dia 5 en Learning City de Miami. Fue una linda tarde, en un hermoso lugar, y por los que vimos los asistentes de entre unos meses y unos 90 anios, la pasaron super bien! Gracias a Rafael, dciolista de Crescendo Music Center y a Nurys, guitarrista y maestra en Mis Amigos Languanges center. Muy pronto les avisare de nuevas actividades. Gracias nuevamente.
